President Donald Trump has ordered American troops to be paid, saying soldiers will not miss their checks during the 'Schumer Shutdown'

Trump posting:

"I am using my authority, as Commander in Chief, to direct our Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to use all available funds to get our Troops PAID on October 15th."

"We have identified funds to do this, and Secretary Hegseth will use them to PAY OUR TROOPS. I will not allow the Democrats to hold our Military, and the entire Security of our Nation, HOSTAGE, with their dangerous Government Shutdown."

"The Radical Left Democrats should OPEN THE GOVERNMENT, and then we can work together to address Healthcare, and many other things that they want to destroy."

Democrats are being blamed for the shutdown after refusing to approve the clean CR bill.

According to the documents, Democrats want Healthcare for illegal migrants to be included - something the Republicans will not agree to.

To prevent active-duty service members from missing their paychecks, President Trump issued the directive to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

Trump instructed Hegseth to utilize all available Department of War funds to guarantee that the roughly 1.3 million troops receive their salaries on the scheduled October 15th pay day.

Trump also announced a $300 million funding infusion to the Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), which provides food assistance to nearly 7 million low-income mothers, infants, and young children.

This emergency allocation, sourced from tariff revenues, makes sure the program continues through into the "foreseeable future," despite the shutdown.
