Posted • October 13, 2025: I'm not sure how many times CBS' Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan has stepped in it and gotten decimated by the Trump team for liberal takes. I know that Secretary of State Marco Rubio has dealt her more than one schooling on the faces, and we've certainly written a fair amount about her bad questions. However, on Sunday, she had on Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT). When you think of horrible Democrats in Congress, there are a lot of names that might come up, but you'd certainly have to put him up there on the list. He'll say anything to push the Democrat narrative. But he was nailed by Brennan during his interview on Sunday, as our sister site Townhall reported. Brennan reminded Murphy that he had been critical in the past of the tactic to shut down the government, including when it was a "discussion over healthcare."
