Frank J. Gaffney is the President of the Institute for the American Future, an organisation continuing the work he led previously at the Center for Security Policy.

He serves as Vice Chairman of the Committee on the Present Danger: China and is the author of The Indictment: Prosecuting the Chinese Communist Party & Friends for Crimes Against America, China and the World. Frank also hosts Securing America with Frank Gaffney, a daily television programme on the Real America’s Voice Network, and his syndicated Secure Freedom Minute is broadcast on hundreds of stations across the United States.

Earlier in his career, Frank served as Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Policy under President Ronald Reagan, where he oversaw policies concerning U.S.–USSR relations, nuclear forces, arms control, missile defence, and transatlantic security. In recognition of his four-and-a-half years of leadership at the Pentagon, he received the Department of Defense’s highest civilian honour, the Distinguished Public Service Medal, in 1987.
