Trump & Sisi to Chair Gaza Peace Summit in Sharm el-Sheikh With World Leaders In Attendance | N18G

US President Donald Trump and his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, are set to chair the Gaza peace summit in Sharm el-Sheikh on October 13. The summit is to finalise an agreement to end the war in Gaza. Sisi’s office stated that more than 20 world leaders would attend the summit, including UK PM Kier Starmer, Italy's Georgia Meloni, France's Emmanuel Macron, and Turkey's Tayyip Erdogan, among others. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also invited to the summit, but Minister of State (MoS) Kirti Vardhan will represent India at the meeting.  The summit followed an agreement between Israel and Hamas over the first phase of the ceasefire in Gaza, which involves the release of all Israeli hostages.
