On August 25th, 2025, Athens-Clarke County Police stopped a vehicle that was being driven without headlights. Behind the wheel was a twenty-year-old college student who told the officer she had just dropped off a friend who had blacked out and was on her way home. At first, she denied having anything to drink, but later admitted to consuming one beverage. The officer asked her to step out of the car to perform standardized field sobriety tests. After observing multiple signs of impairment, the officer placed her under arrest and transported her to the police station, where a breath test registered a blood alcohol concentration of .243%. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of this video. Thank you for watching — please like and subscribe for more bodycam footage.
