Why Jesus Came - God is Not Counting Our Sin Against Us

📖 “That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed the message of reconciliation to us.” — 2 Corinthians 5:19

Yesterday we learned that God reconciled us to Himself — that He made the first move to restore our relationship. ❤️

Today we see the depth of that love: He forgave completely.
God doesn’t just patch up the relationship; He removes the record of sin entirely.

📖 Psalm 103:12 says: “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”
📖 Micah 7:19 says: “You will hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.”

That means there’s no sin too great, no past too broken, and no failure too deep for God’s mercy to reach.

📖 Romans 8:1 reminds us: “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”

When God looks at you, He doesn’t see your shame — He sees Jesus. 🙌

✨ Reflection: Are you living in forgiveness, or still carrying what Jesus already took to the cross?

Tomorrow we’ll continue with Matthew 1:21, where we’ll see that Jesus came to save His people from their sins.
