Cops on trial the killing of Melissa Perez

LIVE FROM TEXAS — The trial for the three former San Antonio cops charged in the killing of Melissa Perez continues. Perez was inside her apartment when officers responded to a mental health call. Moments later, she was dead.

Two of the officers are charged with murder, another with aggravated assault. The defense says it was a split-second call. The state says it was reckless and unjustified.
