JERUSALEM, October 13, 2025 — In a historic address to the Israeli Knesset following the release of all remaining hostages held by Hamas, President Donald J. Trump celebrated what he called “the fulfillment of the Promise of Zion” and the dawn of a new era of peace across the Middle East.

“The promise of Zion — you want the promise of success and hope and love and God,” Trump said to thunderous applause. “From the very first day that modern Israel was founded, we have stood together through thick and thin… and perhaps, most beautifully of all, we have made peace together. And this week, against all odds, we have done the impossible and brought our hostages home.”

The speech comes after Hamas released the final 20 living Israeli hostages under Trump’s U.S.-brokered peace plan, which brought a ceasefire to Gaza and included the release of roughly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners. Israeli officials confirmed that the remains of 28 slain hostages are still in Gaza.

Trump emphasized unity and economic cooperation across the region, naming a sweeping network of partnerships stretching from Tel Aviv to Dubai, Jerusalem to Damascus, and even between long-time rivals Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“We are going to have hope, harmony, opportunity, and happiness here in the spiritual and geographic center of the entire world,” Trump declared. “Israel, America, and all of the nations of the Middle East will soon be safer, stronger, greater, and more prosperous than ever before.”

He concluded with a moment of reverence and optimism:
“I love Israel. I’m with you all the way. You will be bigger, better, stronger, and more loving than ever before. God bless you. God bless the United States of America. And God bless the Middle East.”
