Savage Old Bastards — There Never Was a Palestine

Before the sands had names, before the tribes had kings,
This land was called by promise — the covenant still sings.
From Abraham to David, the prophets carved its flame,
Six thousand years unbroken, Israel its name.

This is not a tale of conquest, not an empire’s lie —
It’s the heartbeat of a people who refused to die.
Call it what you will, but truth still stands divine:
There never was a nation that was ever called Palestine.

Rome came with sword and fury, burned the temple stones,
Cursed the land with “Palestina,” to shame Judea’s bones.
But exile could not break them, nor centuries apart —
The map may shift in borders, but never in the heart.

This is not a tale of conquest, not an empire’s lie —
It’s the heartbeat of a people who refused to die.
Call it what you will, but truth still stands divine:
There never was a nation that was ever called Palestine.

From Damascus to Sidon, to Jerusalem’s dust,
The Ottomans drew borders, then crumbled into rust.
The British took the Mandate — the world at last agreed,
To plant the roots of Jacob, where prophets once had breathed.

The settlers came with labor, with water, sweat, and seed,
Turned desert into Eden — from want to fruitful need.
But envy turned to anger, and brother turned to foe,
The squatters saw the harvest, and swore to overthrow.

This is not a tale of conquest, not an empire’s lie —
It’s the heartbeat of a people who refused to die.
Call it what you will, but truth still stands divine:
There never was a nation that was ever called Palestine.

If Jews are the “occupiers,” then answer me this claim —
Why stands your mosque on temples built by Solomon’s own hand?
Why cling to ancient ruins whose cornerstones you claim,
When every stone beneath you still whispers Israel’s name?

This is not a tale of conquest, not an empire’s lie —
It’s the heartbeat of a people who refused to die.
Call it what you will, but time will still define:
This land is Israel — eternal and divine.
