Condemnation, shame and guilt do not have the power to deliver us from sin. The knowledge that we have been made the righteousness of God by a free gift of grace helps us to live right. We are not living right to become right – as if God is looking for our perfection before accepting us. Faith in Jesus has made us acceptable before God and we live out of that righteousness. Faith in Christ is the source of the power to live right . .
