This is the case for Ibrahim who was a normal teenage boy

The occupation has created an entire population of Palestinians in Gaza who need around the clock care as they are paralyzed, quadriplegic, in comas, or vegetative states due to brain damage either from blunt-force trauma or inhaling toxic chemicals. They need special medical support that is expensive and also not easy to find.

This is the case for Ibrahim who was a normal teenage boy when a bombing occurred infront of him and a fragment smashed into his head. Now Ibrahim is bedridden, unresponsive, cannot speak, and his body covered with bedsores.

We delivered a medical package to Ibrahim’s father with supplies to dress his open ulcers and prevent infection. But he could benefit from physiotherapy and rehabilitation that tends to his destroyed body. So many children and adults could.

We hope to help more patients with physiotherapy - we already have two onsite physical therapists in our medical points that work with patients that live in our camps.
