Donal trumpt tells israel to stop bombing gaza and hamas agrees to release hostage

US President Donald Trump has told Israel to stop bombing Gaza, believing Hamas is "ready for lasting peace".

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel is "preparing to immediately implement" the first phase of Donald Trump's 20-point plan.

Hamas has agreed to release all the remaining Israeli hostages in Gaza in response to Donald Trump's plan, but has asked to renegotiate some of the steps.
