In The Israel Deception, Part 2, Tom Stapleton continues exposing one of the greatest modern religious deceptions — the idea that Christians must give their political and spiritual allegiance to the modern nation of Israel.

Through quotes from U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee, Ted Cruz, Tucker Carlson, and Candice Owens, Tom reveals how many Christian leaders are urging “total compliance” with Israel — yet Scripture shows a very different picture.

Tom explains the source of this misunderstanding - applying pre-first coming prophecies to the end of time. Just as the Pharisees were applying kingdom prophecies to the first coming, modern Christians are applying first coming prophecies to the Second Coming. Tom looks at passages like the two sticks from Ezekiel 37, restoration promises in Jeremiah 30, and the angelic interpretation given to Daniel in Daniel 9 leading to the first coming. These were prophecies that foretold the Babylonian captivity, gave promise of a return to Israel, and instructions for the building of a temple for the Messiah's coming. Israel was to be a house of prayer for all nations, being the messengers of God's truth to all nations. But they would not. After the rejection of the Messiah by Israel, their bloodline was "cut off", and God had to turn to a nation that would bear the fruit. His promises are now fulfilled in the grafted-in believers of every nation — not in a political entity.

The prophets, apostles, and Yeshua Himself declared that unbelieving Israel was “left desolate” (Luke 19:41–44; Matthew 21:43). The true Israel of God is not defined by ethnicity or geography, but by faith and obedience to Messiah (Romans 11:17; Ephesians 2:11–13; Acts 15).
