Welcome back to Pixel Command - your gateway to the grim darkness of gaming lore!

Today we're exploring Vault 19, where scientists decided to see what happens when you divide people by jumpsuit color and slowly drive them insane. Spoiler alert: it worked perfectly.

🔹 Purpose: Induce severe paranoia through non-chemical, non-violent means 🔹 Method: Segregation into red and blue sectors with minimal contact 🔹 The Manipulation: Two overseers secretly coordinating "incidents" to blame on each other 🔹 The Techniques: High-pitched noises, strange air drafts, blinking lights, equipment sabotage 🔹 The Result: Complete psychological breakdown and vault abandonment

Vault 19 was split into red and blue sectors with separate overseers and artificial tribal divisions. The experiment worked by having both overseers secretly collaborate to create mysterious incidents - equipment malfunctions, strange noises, coded light patterns - that each sector would blame on the other.

Over time, paranoia consumed everyone. Red blamed blue for everything wrong, blue blamed red right back. Psychosis and aggression spread until the entire population abandoned the vault. The experiment was a complete success - they'd weaponized jumpsuit colors and proven humans will hate each other over literally anything if you manipulate them right.

The most disturbing part? When Powder Gangers later occupied the abandoned vault, they naturally divided along the same red/blue lines, showing the psychological conditioning had become embedded in the vault's very structure.

What's the most absurd thing people have fought over in real life? Let me know in the comments!
