Governor Newsom Banned Glocks

California Governor Gavin Newsom signed AB1127 into law, banning all Glocks within the State from further transfers outside of family members.

How exactly are they defining this ban? By re-categorizing the most popular pistol in the country as a "machine gun convertible" pistol due to the existence of already illegal (both federally and in the state) Glock switches that allow full auto fire.
