* I Built My Dream Tiny House in Colorado!
* How I Made This Tiny House My Home!
* Watch This Empty Land Turn Into a Cozy Home!

In the shadow of Mount Blanca, I set out on a mission—to build an off-grid home from nothing but raw land, a dream, sweat and determination. No experience, no easy button—just me learning as I go, making mistakes, and pushing through the kind of challenges that’ll test your patience, your grit, and your mental health. It wasn't easy.

This is the story of how I built my own home one step at a time in the San Luis Valley. Whether you’re dreaming of self-sufficiency, planning your own build, or just curious about how it all comes together, stick around. This is the real story of building an off-grid home in southern Colorado.

ABOUT ME:
â–º I grew up in Kalamazoo, MI and graduated with a Marketing degree from Oakland University.
â–º I moved to Longmont, CO in November 2016 and fell in love with all the beautiful hiking trails that Colorado has to offer. So, in April 2017, the Nash Potatoes Outdoor Show was born.
â–º In November 2019, I took a 4-month camping trip in my pop-up camper. This gave me an opportunity to travel, explore, unwind, and create lots of great videos.
â–º In December 2020, I began recording a series of downhill skiing videos in Colorado. These quickly became popular and my passion for YouTube was re-ignited!
â–º I actually had so many great memories of my first camping trip that I decided to do another one. So, in April 2021, I converted a 12-foot enclosed trailer into a camper and documented the whole process.
â–º In June 2021, I reached 1,000 subscribers and was able to monetize my channel.
â–º By January 2023, I was already at 2,000 subscribers and counting!
â–º Just two months later, I reached 10,000 subscribers (March 2023).
â–º One month after that, I reached 20,000 subscribers (April 2023).
â–º And one month after that, I reached 25,000 subscribers (May 2023).
â–º The Nash Potatoes Outdoor Show allows me to share all of my experiences with you. Join me on my adventure as I talk about life, laughter, exploration, and creating content for YouTube...enjoy!
