Poho'iki I

Poho'iki was surf spot number one on the Kalapana coastline until 2018. The Leilani Estates eruption covered much of this area up to the boat ramp. From there all the way to Kapo'ho - including Kapo'ho itself - the lava flow took out most of this pristine shoreline. However, the eruption has also created new, expansive black sand beaches.
