As I turn to leave, something catches my eye—an obscured trail veering off the main path. It’s no accident of nature. This is man-made. A small wooden sign reads: "Path of Valor."

I accept.

What follows is a trial of skill and endurance—rope swings over jagged cliffs, climbs that push my fingers to their limit, and narrow beams that demand the balance of a monk and the precision of a hawk. None of it impossible. But combined, they challenge not just the body, but the mind. At the path’s end lies my reward: Tamakichi’s Hood—an exquisitely crafted piece of armor far superior to my own. I don it without hesitation. A small gain, but a meaningful one.
