3 Minutes on the road from Belladonia to Mundrabilla WA

Left Balladonia behind and rolled onto Australia’s longest, straightest highway. Just sred dust, ky, heat, and the hum of tyres on bitumen.

A few hours in, I came across a young bloke stranded - flat tyre, flat spare, no signal. I patched him up and got him moving again.

Out here you realise how far from everything you really are. And how a small hand at the right time can feel like the whole world turning up.
