Playthrough of Call of Duty (2003).

Playing the Single Player campaign on Veteran Difficulty.

Well, here we are. The final mission of the game. I won't lie, this was quite the challenge.

Final thoughts on this game:
This one was another classic from my childhood. It was definitely nice revisiting this one. Remember when Activision actually game a damn about what they were putting out? Those were the days. It's kind of crazy to see where the Call of Duty franchise started and compare it to where it is today. The attempts to be historically accurate are appreciated.

I will not say Veteran is the ideal way to play this game. It feels like there wasn't as much QA testing on that difficulty. Also, if you're someone who gets frustrated easily or has little patience, I would recommend trying this on Veteran. Only do it if you want a challenge. I would say the ideal way to play this game would be on Regular or Hardened. Greenhorn felt way too easy.

Disabling health packs on Veteran was what made this the most frustrating. Yeah there's a reason the health system got a massive overhaul in Call of Duty 2.

If this game goes on sale, definitely worth checking out for the campaign. The multiplayer though is kind of dead.

I will be playing through the United Offensive expansion pack next. Hopefully that one won't be as difficult on Veteran.
