Disillusioned? Get Back on the Path – Psalm 25

Have you ever met a Christian who was disillusioned with the faith? I have. In fact, I have counseled a ton of them. They typically have either given up on God or are on the verge of doing so. The tragedy is that a person's disillusionment is always a product of his own making. God doesn't change. He doesn’t fail. So when a person feels like God has failed him, it's because his heart and mind are in the wrong place. They are are on the wrong path.

Psalm 25 tells us how to get back on the right path. It tells us how to avoid disillusionment altogether. The best part is that it's not complicated. Like so much of Christianity, the principles we will learn from this text are quite simple. You'll get them if you just believe and humbly submit.
