AR-0187: You know those digital back dropping effects currently used by the big film studios? Well believe it or not, but an attempt was made at utilising digital backdrops on modest resources was done all the way back in the mid-2000s by Neo Art & Logic [the same subsidiary Miramax company that did all those Mc💩 Hellraisers of that decade] for a pair of DTV [direct-to-video] sequels to that now-forgotten remake of the arthouse J-Horror flick "Pulse".

At the time this movie hit the video store shelves, it got its backside handed to it by practically EVERYONE on the interwebs - I witnessed this @$$-kicking firsthand when I did my internet surfing on library computers back in the 2000s.

Let me tell you that "Pulse 3" was far better than this tale of a narcissist female ghost trying to 'retrieve' her young daughter from her ex-husband in the midst of an invasion by killer ghosts through the world's Wi-fi networks...

Although the experiment is still mighty interesting in today's world.

My Grade: D+ [Disappointing]

By the way, even though this movie was indeed released on DVD in Australia, it was EXTREMELY rare - I only ever came across ONE copy, and I owned that copy...
