🔴 Sin Leading to Death | Talking to Your Parents About Your Brokenness | Boldness and Confidence

Streamed on:
180

I tackle one of the most challenging and anxiety-inducing passages in Scripture, the sin leading to death in 1 John 5:16-17. This is NOT a passage meant to send you unnessary condemning spiraling—it's meant to equip you with discernment and sobriety for the spiritual battles we face. In this deep dive, I bring out eight different perspectives about what the sin unto death may be and how we can process these insights in a healthy way.

I also address someone's question who came from a legalistic and abusive church environment and is working through the grieving process, while also seeking to overcome OCD and scrupulosity struggles. I address a young man who is compulsively rehashing his childhood with his parents.

I bring out how we can apply the subject of boldness as Christians, tying it into how to practice confidence. I address an 83 year old woman who has struggled for decades with feeling that she is not God's child.
