"Valerie" is a song by English indie rock band the Zutons from their second studio album. The song was later covered by Mark Ronson, with lead vocals provided by Amy Winehouse, reaching number two on the UK Singles Chart in 2007.

In an interview with The Scotsman in May 2008, lead singer Dave McCabe described the writing process of the song: "I could tell you I was inspired by gazing out across the Mersey or walking past Macca's old house, but the truth is I got the idea in a cab on the way to my mum's. The whole song was written before I got there, so 20 minutes, max[imum]".

Valerie's title and theme refer to a then-unnamed American friend of McCabe's who was in trouble for driving under the influence. The band's drummer, Sean Payne, called it a "musical postcard to her, saying he is having a hard time and can she come over and see him". In an interview with Vice magazine in June 2019, the subject of the song was revealed to be celebrity makeup artist Valerie Star. She explained that she met McCabe and how she got arrested for driving on a suspended license.

Valerie was used by ITV during the 2006 FIFA World Cup, alongside Primal Scream's "Country Girl" and Kasabian's cover of David Bowie's 1977 song "Heroes". The song was also featured as a playable track in Lego Rock Band.

Both the original and the Mark Ronson version of Valerie featured in British soap opera Emmerdale during the wedding of Eric and Val Pollard in 2008.

The Big Decider is the fourth studio album released on 26 April 2024 through Icepop. It is the band's first album in 16 years, following You Can Do Anything (2008), their disbandment the following year, and reformation in 2018. The album was produced by Ian Broudie, Nile Rodgers, and band member Sean Payne; further, it was promoted with a tour of the UK in early 2024. Opening track is Creeping On The Dancefloor.

"Pressure Point" was the first single to be released from their debut album Who Killed...... The Zutons?. During the music video, a number of chaotic incidents occur around the musicians, including a hanging dress, a cat and its milk, the flow of the milk, and the billboard. At the end, the billboard collapses, making it look like the musicians are dead, but they still sing and tap their feet.

The music video was used in the PSP demo disk, the single was featured in several Levi's commercials in 2004 and 2005, and in the EA Sports video game MVP Baseball 2005.

The single peaked at #19 on the UK Singles Chart in January 2004 and was the band's first chart appearance.

To date, "Pressure Point" is the band's only chart hit in the United States, peaking at number 29 on the Billboard Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart in 2005.

"You Will You Won't" is the second single from their debut album Who Killed...... The Zutons?. The single peaked at #22 in the UK singles charts.

The song is distinguished by the strident, catchy refrain which happens to serve as its title. The video contains a sequence involving unusual lighting effects with decidedly comic results.
