Joshua the high priest – no not THE Joshua. The name Joshua mean “Yaweh saves.”
The priest after the release from Babylon during the rebuilding of the temple and Jerusalem.
Satan “the accuser of the brethren” (Rev 12:10) is seen in the vision, to the right of the high priest Joshua who is before the Lord.
Satan is there to resist him.

Joshua, the high priest representing Israel, is described by the Lord as being in “filthy” garments.
The term is FAR too nice for what the Hebrew actually means – it means he stank to high heaven as being covered in diarrhea.
Now THAT is the high priest chosen by God whom has served for 16 years so far….
Keep that in mind when one goes before the throne of God in prayer.
Now, Joshua was representing himself and ALL of Israel, so…
it wasn’t all his shit (lol, ahem sry)..

When WE go before the Lord, and admit our sins in prayer, and repent of them (even if it is repeated times – some things are harder than others) – we are cleaned, cleansed, our sins are forgiven-
IF
we realize them (hold ourselves up to God’s laws, EVEN if the sin was in our heads)
and admit them.
It’s not about knocking us down-
it’s about refining US.
Do WE understand?

The priests robes were:
-a “coat” of fine linen
-and a seamless (blue) robe (of linen) worn over the internal garments.
When Jesus was crucified what was he wearing? A seamless robe. And he was laid for burial in fine linen.
