Installing a Rooftop Tent on My Overlanding Truck (Unplanned Garage Footage)

This wasn’t a planned video — I had just finished installing my rooftop tent on the camper top and decided to check the footage from my security camera. So that’s what you’re seeing here.

This isn’t a how-to, just a behind-the-scenes look at how it all came together. The install involved a Sherpa crossbar system, upgraded mounts, and a few improvisations from friends who showed up to lend a hand.

In the end, we got the tent up, secured, and ready for the next overlanding trip. I’ll show the interior and more camping footage in a future video. Big thanks to everyone who helped!
