Suspects sought in alleged armed carjacking of Uber Eats driver in Braintree, police say - Police in Braintree are searching for three people who allegedly carjacked and robbed an Uber Eats driver at gunpoint Friday night, police said.

The driver, whom police described as “visibly upset, but uninjured,” called 911 to report the robbery at about 10 p.m. He said the three men had guns and stole his car after he made a delivery on Skyline Drive, police said.

Police found the driver’s car idling next to a nearby apartment complex, with its front passenger door open and items “strewn on the ground” outside, police said.

Police used dogs, drones, and the State Police Air Wing to search the area, but no arrests were made.

The driver told police he was robbed by a white man with red hair, a light-skinned man wearing a black ski mask, and a dark-skinned man wearing a dark hoodie.

Police did not say what was stolen.

PRESS RELEASE: Armed Robbery at Skyline Drive
At about 10 PM on Friday evening, October 10, 2025, the Braintree Police Department received a 911 call from a victim who stated he was robbed by three males, all armed with handguns, after making a food delivery on Skyline Drive. The responding Braintree officers quickly located the victim. A few seconds later, the victim’s unoccupied vehicle, a Nissan Maxima, was located near the Skyline Apartments management office, a short distance from where it was taken. The vehicle was still running, the front passenger door was open, and items were strewn on the ground outside the victim’s vehicle.
The Braintree Police Department called for assistance from mutual aid partners. Quincy officers arrived along with a Quincy K-9. Massachusetts State Police also assisted along with the MSP Air Wing. Multiple K9 tracks were conducted but ultimately did not discover the suspects. Braintree’s drone unit was activated and both Braintree & Quincy drones were in the air in short order.
The victim’s vehicle was towed to the Braintree Police station for processing. Plymouth County B.C.I. assisted in processing evidence. The victim was visibly upset, but uninjured, and was driven
to the Braintree Police station where he was interviewed by Braintree Detectives.
The three suspects have been described as:
• A white male with red hair, wearing a gray hoodie;
• A light-skinned male wearing a gray/black Nike Tech hooded sweatshirt and a black ski mask. He was possibly speaking with an accent.
• A dark-skinned male with a dark hoodie.
The victim could not provide an approximate age of the suspects.
