Hegseth says Qatar played 'substantial role' in Gaza ceasefire

U.S. Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth on Friday (October 10) thanked Qatar for its role in securing a ceasefire in Gaza as he welcomed Qatar’s Defense Minister Sheikh Saoud Al Thani to the Pentagon, while the two countries also announced an agreement to open a joint air force training facility at the U.S. Mountain Air Force Home Base in Idaho.
