Yeshua’s Will To Heal

Matthew 8:2-3
“And behold a leper came and prostrated himself unto Him and said, 'My Master if You are willing You have
the power Dunamis to make me clean.'
And stretching out His hand, touching him,
saying, ‘I will! Be cleansed!’
And immediately cleansed him of the leprosy.”

Mark 1:40-42
“A leper came to Jesus, beseeching Him and falling on his knees before Him, and saying, 'If You are willing, You can make me clean.' Moved with compassion, Yeshua stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, 'I will! Be cleansed!'
Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed.”

This particular account of cleansing the leper is also found in Matthew 8:2, Mark 1:40, and Luke 5:12.
This is the only incident where the will of God is mentioned in the act of divine healing. The suggestion of the leper is that he had the faith that God/Yeshua could heal him but was uncertain if it was His will to heal him.
The Master’s answer was eternal truth. “I Am willing.” This should be enough to believe that Jesus is always willing to heal.

Matthew 6:9-13 (LITV)
“Pray, then, this way: Our Father Who is in Heaven,
Holy is Your name.
Your kingdom come; Your will be done,
as it is in Heaven, also on the earth.
Give us today our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts as we also forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil,
for Yours is the kingdom and the power
and the glory to the ages.
Amen.”

We should never separate this “will of God to heal” from “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
This miracle incident of Yeshua’s powerful cleansing of the leper and, the prayer that was capable of packing that miraculous power, which Yeshua taught His disciples, cannot be separated.
Both give an answer to the serpent’s work to beguile Eve and Adam with the questioning of the motives of our Creator within them.
Adam and Eve began to die when they accepted that serpent code of questioning the motives of the Creator.
The Father’s will is to heal, deliver and save the lost from destruction. Always.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (ESV)
“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”

Let’s consider how our bodies have become the earthly home for the One Who created the earth and everything that exists.
When we view the word “temple” in the biblical and historical use and applications, this word can be translated as:
to dwell (v) - a dwelling (n), house, home,
residing place – residence,
meeting place (for people to come), place of splendor
Moses constructed a “tabernacle” in the wilderness for YeHoVaH to abide. Once it was complete, to heavenly specifications, YeHoVaH came into that tabernacle and lived among His people upon the earth. It was YeHoVaH’s house in every respect. He provided everything for its construction.
However, it was handled with human involvement and attention. Let’s give thought to the boundaries that the humans had to set in place and oversee.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (Complete Jewish Bible)
“Or don't you know that your body is a temple for the Ruach HaKodesh who lives inside you, whom you received from God? The fact is, you don't belong to yourselves; for you were bought at a price. So use your bodies to glorify God.”

Not all people ever consider their body as a home. But few understand that they are “awesomely, wondrously made” for YeHoVaH’s Divine purposes.
Psalms 139:14-15 (ESV)
“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works. My soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.”

But let’s contemplate the boundaries that we humans must have and why.
Genesis 3:1 (NASB)
“Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, 'Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden?’”

Adam & Eve failed to establish and maintain boundaries, and it cost them the perfection of YeHoVaH’s plans for them and all humans from them on.

The Ancient of Days had the extreme wisdom to provide the ultimate rescue and answer to bring back the lovers of YeHoVaH to His garden of Paradise.
The Only Begotten Son was the home of perfection upon the earth: meticulously, perfectly made as His own image. Yeshua is YeHoVaH’s salvation for humankind. Perfect salvation.

Romans 16:20
“The God of shalom will soon break up the Satan under your feet.
The grace of our Master, Yeshua is with you.”

John 17:10 (NASB)
“And all things that are Mine are Yours,
and Yours are Mine, and I have been glorified in them.”

Song of Songs 2:16 (NASB)
“My beloved is mine, and I am his;
He pastures his flock among the lilies.”

Prayer:
Father, Your Name is holy, and You have set Your magnificent Name upon me as an integral part of my being. The Blood of the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, has miraculously rescued me from the kingdom of darkness by His eternal sacrifice. Jesus came to do the will of the Father. Jesus exampled the perfect will of the Father which included His mistreatment and death upon the cross.
Abba, Your divine will is absolutely and unarguably evident and known. Jesus Christ, the Messiah of God, came to save, to heal and to deliver every person who believes in Him. This was and is Your will, Father. As a believer, I know Your will because I know You. Holy Spirit, my body is Your temple - Your dwelling place.
The serpent came to cause a question of Your word - Your will. I refuse to hear the voices of that old serpent code that would redirect the thoughts, the hearts, and the confessions of those who would listen to the voice of the serpent.
Father, let Your will be done in my body. Let the heavenly substance of Your will crush the head of the serpent and that demonic code of weakness, sickness, disease and trauma.
All that I have and all that I am belongs to You, Holy Spirit. I receive Your passionate healing substance which is Your will. You cleansed the leper, and I believe that You are cleansing me right now. I will praise You eternally.
