SCRIPTURE READING FOR
TODAY Ps 15:1-5 GWT

A psalm by David.
--
1 O LORD, who may stay in your tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?
--
2 The one who walks with integrity, does what is righteous, and speaks the truth within his heart.
--
3 The one who does not slander with his tongue, do evil to a friend, or bring disgrace on his neighbor.
--
4 The one who despises those rejected by God but honors those who fear the LORD. The one who makes a promise and does not break it, even though he is hurt by it.
--
5 The one who does not collect interest on a loan or take a bribe against an innocent person. Whoever does these things will never be shaken.

The Word of God To Meditate On Today: THE UNSHAKABLE MAN: WALKING IN THE FEAR OF GOD Ps 15:1-5 GWT

Insight: In a world spiraling in rebellion against God, the fear of the Lord has become rare—but it remains the only foundation that guarantees stability. To fear God is not to live in terror of Him, but to walk in deep reverence, honor, and submission to His authority. It is the posture of a heart that values divine approval over human applause.

1. The Fear of God Produces Stability Amid Chaos: When the world shakes with uncertainty, those who fear God remain firm. They are anchored not in systems but in the unchanging truth of God’s Word. Like Mount Zion, they cannot be moved (Psalm 125:1).

--

2. The Fear of God Preserves Moral Purity in a Corrupt Generation: The fear of God restrains evil desires and keeps one pure even when sin is normalized. It distinguishes the righteous from the rebellious, just as Joseph fled from Potiphar’s wife because he feared God more than man (Genesis 39:9).

--

3. The Fear of God Positions Believers for Divine Preservation and Influence: Those who walk in the fear of God become unshakable testimonies of grace. Like Daniel in Babylon and Noah before the flood, they stand tall when others fall. The fear of God is the secret of lasting greatness.

--

When everything that can be shaken is shaken, only those whose hearts tremble at God’s Word will stand secure (Hebrews 12:27). The fear of God is the difference between collapse and consistency, between disgrace and divine approval.
