Episode 1 - The Holy Spirit trains the church to recognize the last enemy by letting us study his shadows. I was introduced to a EXCELLENT book recently. Jacob Prasch’s “Shadows of the Beast”

This teaching is a combination of this book’s framework that matches very closely to mine. From Nimrod’s revolt and Antiochus Epiphanes’ profanation to Nero’s cruelty and the cultic emperor worship of Rome, Scripture and history present a succession of antichrist figures that are not the reality in full but are accurate silhouettes cast ahead of the day. The purpose is not to satisfy curiosity or enable a guessing game. The purpose is to fit the church with a biblical template so that when the final man of lawlessness is unveiled, the faithful recognize the pattern, measure him against the Word, and refuse his counterfeit glory. This is the burden of Shadows of the Beast, which insists the identity of the coming Antichrist is ultimately revealed to the faithful church in God’s time rather than named confidently years in advance by trend chasers seeking headlines. That emphasis resists the vanity of premature coronations and calls us back to spiritual sobriety and biblical categories.
