The most relevant Bible verse about the preciousness and wise use of time is:

Ephesians 5:15-16,, "Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil".

Time is our most valued commodity; it must be used wisely and not wasted on foolish or selfish endeavors. There is always another way to earn money but there is no way to bank or save time.

Other verses that emphasize how brief and valuable time is that encourage us to live wisely, work diligently, and prepare for eternity.
Psalm 90:12:

"Teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom". This verse calls for a greater awareness of the fleeting nature of time, prompting us to live wisely and not waste what God has blessed us with.
James 4:14: "What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes". This verse highlights the temporary nature of life, urging us to make the most of it and not to be overconfident in our own plans.
John 9:4:

"As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work". We are urgently being called to fulfill God’s purpose for our lives while we have the opportunity. Tomorrow is not promised.

Key Concepts from Scripture on Time:

Time as a gift: it is a precious gift from God to be used for His glory.
Wisdom in stewardship: we are to be wise stewards of our time, rather than acting unwisely or foolishly.
Eternity: recognize the temporary nature of earthly life and the eternal significance of our actions in this life.
Urgency: There is a spiritual urgency to use our time well. Life is very short and our opportunities to serve God on this earth will eventually end.
