Pakistan’s military has praised the performance of its Chinese-made weapons systems during the 4 day May clash with India, saying they performed exceptionally well. Military spokesman Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said the conflict marked the first major combat use of China’s J-10C fighters, which Islamabad credited for shooting down multiple Indian aircraft, including French-made Rafales.

Pakistan has now confirmed the destruction of seven Indian Air Force jets & one drone, including 4 Rafales, a Mirage 2000, a MiG-29, a Su-30 & an Israeli-made Heron UAV, all without losing a single Pakistani aircraft.

The updated tally, 7–0 in Pakistan’s favor, has been supported by visual & technical evidence presented by military officials, even as India’s claims remain unverified & widely doubted internationally.

At an event hosted by the Islamabad Policy Research Institute, Lt Gen Retired Khalid Ahmed Kidwai, adviser to Pakistan’s National Command Authority, said the country’s Full Spectrum Deterrence effectively neutralised India’s military ambitions.

He emphasised that Pakistan’s newly formed Army Rocket Force Command would further raise the strategic threshold, adding an additional layer between conventional & nuclear operations.

Kidwai also announced that Pakistan will fast track the induction of the J-35 stealth fighter, enhance its fleet of J-10 4.5-generation aircraft & expand the range and capacity of PL-15 BVR missiles, further strengthening the Pakistan Air Force’s deterrence capabilities.

Kidwai Said that “India not only failed to achieve any of its political or military objectives, it suffered major reverses. especially within its air force.”
