Simulacra is an image or representation of someone or something, replacing reality. We no longer live in a world of realities but in a world of simulations, layered by symbols, images that imitate reality but have no connection to reality itself, but nonetheless it becomes only a reality in our minds. There are 4 stages: 1.reflection of reality of a real thing, 2, distorted image, the copied images are distorted or exaggerated. 3 the image pretends to be real when it is not, hiding the absence of reality. The copy claims to represent something real, but the original no longer exist. 4 No relation to reality at all. The copy is reality now.
