Grim Dawn: One Button Man Ep3

I don't count the dash 'ability', the health potion, or the mana potion as 'button uses' as they're not technically skills you use equipped to a skill slot, for the purposes of this playthrough.

I'll probably just have this generic description text for most of the playthrough but keep a look out as if there's anything worth noting on an episode I'll put it at the top of the description box above the disclaimer clarifying what the 'one button run' is about. Anyway:

This is my first commentated playthrough in a long while and, I've decided to record myself attempting to beat Grim Dawn in a 'one button run', meaning only using a DAR - https://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/369648/how-can-i-tell-whether-a-skill-is-a-default-weapon-attack - aka a 'default weapon attack replacer', among skills that require pressing a button to activate.

Now, this is a relatively common way to play the game but I figured I'd record myself doing it because I particularly like the way Grim Dawn handled this particular aspect of its design. Maybe I'm weird (I am) but I love, LOVE the idea of having a way to replace a default attack in an iso-ARPG and then more or less lump on a bunch of %-based procs onto that default attack replacement. Especially in a game where you can use chunky bolt-action rifles, muskets, and massive axes.

I randomly decided to try and roll through the whole game on veteran for our titular hero One Button Man's journey. I'll try to go through the whole thing on Veteran - including DLC - and while I'm fairly confident it won't be -that- bad I can sometimes have a low tolerance for tedium so it might not pan out as a full Veteran playthrough. However... if it does I'm thinking of maybe doing more playthroughs starting on veteran where I do similar specific kinds of niche (but not uncommon, though afaik there's not really any 'uncommon' builds thanks to how amazing this game's class system is!) characters.
