Each of us has a Guardian Angel to protect us

The Church teaches that each of us has a Guardian Angel that assists us on our faith journey. God uses some angels for specific purposes that affect all people (like the Archangels Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael) while also using guardian angels to care for each of our specific needs. Our Guardian Angels can cause us to feel what is right or wrong and urge us to make the right choices. They act opposing the fallen angels, or demons, who tempt us through lies, false reasoning, and earthly delights.

May we pray with the utmost of confidence that God has entrusted us with a Guardian Angel to protect us on our faith journey…Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God’s love commits me here; ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen. Angels of God, pray for me. Jesus, I trust in You.
