Who is Jesus - The One Who Purifies Us

✝️ “After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.” — Hebrews 1:3

This one verse captures the heart of the Gospel.

In the Old Testament, priests had to offer sacrifices over and over — but those sacrifices could never fully take away sin. They were only a shadow of what was to come.

Then Jesus came — the perfect Lamb of God — and offered Himself once for all.
📖 Hebrews 10:11–12 says: “Day after day every priest stands and performs his duties… But when this Priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God.”

When Jesus died on the cross, He didn’t just cover our sins — He removed them.
📖 1 John 1:7 says: “The blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.”

💧 Purification means to be made completely clean. No matter your past, Jesus’ blood makes you new, forgiven, and restored.

✨ Reflection: Are you still trying to earn forgiveness, or have you accepted the purification Jesus already provided?

Tomorrow we’ll finish Hebrews 1:3 and see what it means that Jesus sat down at the right hand of God — showing His victory and authority. 🙌
