Based on Stephen King’s chilling novel, Pet Sematary (1989) follows the Creed family as they move to the quiet town of Ludlow, Maine, hoping for a fresh start.

Dr. Louis Creed (played by Dale Midkiff) relocates with his wife Rachel Creed (played by Denise Crosby) and their two children — young daughter Ellie Creed (played by Blaze Berdahl) and toddler Gage Creed (played by Miko Hughes). Their idyllic new home sits near a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods.

The family befriends their kindly neighbor Jud Crandall (played by Fred Gwynne), who warns them about the ancient Micmac burial ground beyond the pet cemetery — a place where the dead don’t stay buried.

Tragedy strikes when Gage is killed in a tragic accident, driving Louis to desperation. Despite Jud’s warnings, Louis buries his son in the cursed ground, unleashing unimaginable horror as Gage returns… but not as the sweet boy he once was.
