🥘 Goat & Turkey Okra Soup

Ingredients
• Goat meat (1.5 lb, cut into chunks)
• Turkey (1.5 lb, chopped)
• Fresh okra (about 1 lb, finely chopped/grated)
• Onion, garlic, ginger, tomatoes, peppers (for sauce)
• Palm oil (3–4 Tbsp)
• Seasonings: thyme, crayfish, bouillon (optional), salt, pepper
• Stock or water

Steps
1. Season the meats – Rub goat and turkey with salt, pepper, garlic, ginger, and onion.
2. Cook goat first – Simmer goat in water/stock until partly tender.
3. Add turkey – Add turkey to the same pot; simmer until both meats are soft and flavorful.
4. Make pepper base – Blend tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, and hot pepper. Fry in palm oil until reduced and aromatic.
5. Combine – Add cooked meat and broth into the fried pepper base. Stir well.
6. Prepare okra – Chop most okra, grate or blend some for extra thickness.
7. Cook okra – Stir okra into soup; simmer 5–7 minutes until silky but still green.
8. Finish – Adjust seasoning. Add greens (like spinach/ugu) if desired.
9. Serve – Hot with fufu, banku, rice, or garri.
