👉 Amid President Trump’s renewed threats to bomb Iran, and the buildup of US forces near the Gulf, the Islamic Republic’s military has a road-mobile, precision tactical ballistic missile system up its sleeve that should make Pentagon planners think twice about renewed aggression.

Known as the Fath-360 (lit. ‘Victory-360’), the system features:

♦️ 150 kg HE warhead

♦️ 30-120 km firing range, 10-30M CEP

♦️ satellite (GNSS), inertial, and AI-assisted guidance, including electro-optical seeker for EW resistance, and anti-jamming CRPA antennas

♦️ Mach 3-4 flight speed requiring advanced, limited and costly missile defenses to intercept

♦️ shoot-and-scoot tactics-ready

♦️ Solid fuel engine for instant deployment

♦️ 2-to-6 rocket launch configuration

♦️ can be fitted to beds of commercial trucks with sliding canopy for disguise (Iran’s asymmetric warfare strategy shines through)

♦️ custom simulator for operator training, including full-scale mock-up missiles to provide low-cost training

📌 Developed by the Aerospace Industries Organization and miniaturized from the Fatah-110 missile, the Fath-360 has deployed with the IRGC Navy and Ground Forces, and the Army’s Ground Forces.

Its capabilities have been compared to the GMLRS and GMLRS-ER, the long-range versions of US Army’s HIMARS multiple launch rocket system. However, the Iranian system has a bigger warhead and higher flight speed (150 kg and Mach 3-4 vs 90 kg and Mach 2.5, respectively).
