Hope = the earnest expectation of good, confidence and security we have in God

What does the God of hope offer you?
- To “fill you with all joy and peace”

Notice where the power comes from:
- It’s not me, it is the power of the Holy Spirit in me

We are not blind to the awful consequences of sin that we all experience

Death, disease, and disappointments galore are part and parcel of life on planet earth

In the midst of real life on earth, we have something, a treasure, given to us by our loving God:

The ability to live above the tragedies, the flack, of life

HOPE – PEACE - JOY . . .BY THE HOLY SPIRIT’S POWER

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, not angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:37-39

May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. - Romans 5:13
