As Donald Trump's immigration crackdown picks up steam, Homeland Secretary Kriti Noem has reported a massive jump in arrests by ICE agents. Secretary Noem said ICE arrests jumped by 627% from last year in President Trump's first month in office. She added that over 20,000 illegal migrants were arrested in a month as compared to around 33,000 arrests under Joe Biden for all of last year. However, immigration experts and critics are scrutinising the data released by the Department of Homeland Security. They say the math is misleading because the secretary is comparing total ICE arrests under the current administration with a smaller subset of arrests under another. Did the ICE get the math wrong? Watch this video for details.
