At least coffee 83, or I just can't do it, and also the elections
We people are all different, especially some of us...
We all know this grammatically incorrect saying. But otherwise, of course, it's absolutely true. However, the current pseudo-communist National Front, which calls itself SPOLU, refuses to acknowledge this. Even the communists, although they tried to average us out somehow, didn't realize that home care for aging and seriously ill parents is almost the only possible solution. Yes, there were various stories about retirement homes being dumping grounds, but there is another perspective. And it has nothing to do with our relationship with our ancestors.
There is a phenomenon that could be expressed by the phrase "I can't do it." And that doesn't mean money or resources. It means mental and physical ability as such. I love my mother, but I wouldn't be able to take care of her. Time wouldn't be a problem, as I'm already retired, but I don't have a space where she could have her privacy, and I simply can't do what various caregivers in various facilities can do. And my wife is in the same situation. We are simply not capable of existing under constant pressure and stress, making arrangements and who knows what else. I can't even imagine it.
But it's still fresh after the elections. The elections were a huge success for digitalization. Bartoš's famous eDoklady, which could also be used in elections, suddenly caused problems in those very elections. For voters. No one knew that the app needed to be updated somehow. Unlike the plastic card, which I use just as often, i.e., not very often. And unlike the payment card in my phone, which I use almost every day, unlike various apps from various stores and services or banks. And unlike another electronic app, eRecept. There is one fundamental difference between them. None of these apps were introduced under the leadership of digital genius Ivan Bartoš of the Pirate Party. It is interesting that every other app occasionally reports that it needs to be updated, but this one does not. Moreover, none of the people I know had any idea that it needed to be updated.
The elections ended with a victory for the ANO movement, which will, however, need support from the SPD and Motorists. Given that both smaller parties want to be in the government, it will not be easy, but on the other hand, they will also have to do something to earn their place in the government. So everyone will agree. Strong rhetoric from the first negotiations will be replaced by so-called constructive approaches. And let's believe that in the end, mutual satisfaction will prevail.
However, the current losers are not showing any satisfaction. Well, that's to be expected, but the vulgarity of not only supporters but also some politicians does not testify to mental balance. There is even talk here of extremists, threats to democracy, and the like. And then there are magical scenes, such as a certain Benda, the current chairman of the ODS parliamentary club, who demands that the new rulers of parliament treat the opposition as politely as they treated them during their time in government. In light of the fact that the SPD could not have representation in the parliament's leadership and after the statements by Parliament Chair Markéta Pekarová Adamová that the opposition should sit in the corner and shuffle their feet, this sounded very touching. It almost brought Tomio Okamura to tears in a television debate. He then promised Benda that they would treat them with the same courtesy. And since Okamura is already being considered as a possible leader of the Chamber of Deputies for the next four years, his words can be trusted. And when ANO representative Alena Schillerová stated that it would be necessary to reduce the number of vice-presidents, it is clear that this means only one thing. SPOLU will have only one vice-president.
The elections turned out the way they did. For some, in particular, it is not exactly a bed of roses. The impact of preferential voting was felt in full. In the SPOLU coalition, the Christian Democrats and TOP 0.9 managed to get more MPs into the Chamber of Deputies than their public support would warrant. So, of course, the ODS candidates paid the price. Although for some, this is probably a good thing. For example, Minister Stanjura was sent out of parliament from the top spot on the candidate list. And he wasn't the only one. On the other hand, monsters such as Lucy NeanDr. Jakob remained there. In a similar way, the Pirates managed to drive out almost all the men, who will be replaced by the Pirate female offspring. And then who can be easily manipulated. They got what they wanted.
Finally, I would like to point out one thing. We had to survive four years of your government, you will have to survive four years of ours. That is simply called DEMOCRACY.
