Some people want to believe Charlie is a racist SO BAD, they’re willing to argue to the death and misquote and say things he never said, just to keep believing a lie. So I typed out EXACTLY what he said for you below.

1st the Mis-Quote (Karen Attiah got fired from the Washington Post for this):

“Black women do not have the brain processing power to be taken seriously. You have to go steal a white person’s slot.” - misquote of Charlie Kirk by Karen Attieh

What Charlie Kirk actually said:

“If we would have said that Joy Reid and Michelle Obama and Sheila Jackson Lee and Katangi Brown Jackson were affirmative action picks, we would have been called the racist. But now they’re coming out and they’re saying it for us. They’re coming out and they’re saying, “I’m only here because of affirmative action.” Yeah, we know you do not have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken really seriously. You had to go steal a white person’s slot to go be taken somewhat seriously.” - Charlie Kirk

He never said “black women”, he just called out some specific black women in politics who took advantage of affirmative action to get where they are today; and they very publicly admitted it.

Affirmative action was initiated by the administration of President Lyndon Johnson (1963–69) in order to improve opportunities for African Americans.

Subsequently, affirmative action was broadened to cover women and Native Americans, Hispanics, and other minorities and was extended to colleges and universities and state and federal agencies.

So while you may not like the way he said “white person’s slot”, it’s a true statements, like it or not.

What are your thoughts now that you know the truth?
