The Feast of Sukkot (from chabad.org):
The festival of Sukkot, commemorating G-d's enveloping protection of the Children of Israel during their 40-year journey through the desert (1313-1273 BCE), is celebrated for seven days, beginning from the eve of Tishrei 15. During this time, we are commanded to "dwell" in a sukkah -- a hut of temporary construction, with a roof covering of raw, unfinished vegetable matter (branches, reeds, bamboo, etc.) -- signifying the temporality and fragily of human habitation and man-made shelter and our utter dependence upon G-d's protection and providence. "How [does one fulfill] the mitzvah of dwelling in the sukkah? One should eat, drink, and live in the sukkah, both day and night, as one lives in one's house on the other days of the year: for seven days a person should make his home his temporary dwelling, and his sukkah his permanent dwelling" (Code of Jewish Law, Orach Chaim 639:1).

At least one k'zayit (approx. 1 oz.) of bread should be eaten in the sukkah on the first evening of the festival, between nightfall and midnight. A special blessing, Leishiv BaSukkah, is recited. For the rest of the festival, all meals must be eaten in the sukkah (see the Code of Jewish Law or consult a Halachic authority as to what constitutes a "meal"). Chabad custom is to refrain from eating or drinking anything outside of the sukkah, even a glass of water.

The muslims are TERRIFIED of Yeshua and any praying on the temple mount (or anywhere).

That being said - I do not agree with John on everything - just like I do not agree with my other favorite teachers on everything (Chuck Missler, Walter Veith). Israel is just like everybody else. There have been evil rulers in Israel in the past, and God has called them out - and they have paid for it. Idolators have been killed by Yaweh in the thousands, the original tablets we smashed (and put into the ark of the covenant) when Moses came down from Mt. Sinai)

The Jews currently are trying to tie the hands of the followers of Yeshua by conflating two things- that ANY criticism of the nation Israel is "anti-semitism."
That's like saying you HAVE to back up those who called for the unjust crucifixion of Jesus and his death or you are against Israel...
That's what I like to call...
lying.
Israel has not lost because it is not their time yet - it has NOTHING to do with "Israel" or Jews...it has to do with God, Yaweh.
Israel WILL lose- because God will MAKE it happen- Yaweh will bring a pagan army to answer for their sins.
For 2,000 years they have not sacrificed for remission of sins....and there's a lot more to it.

Yeshua means - salvation.
The Jews have the SAME opportunity at salvation as the rest of us now.

Pray for God's people, the church, the body of Christ Jesus.
And pray for God's people, the Jews who WILL turn to Yeshua in their tribulation, and 144,000 apostles will be born, who will go all throughout Satan's kingdom and will save MANY and re-evangalize the world...
Pray always for God's people.
