It is absolutely shocking all that's going on around us in Oklahoma:
- Elected State Superintendent Ryan Walters quits
- Governor King Stitt appoints a new Walters replacement whose pronouns are "nice/kind", Lindel Fields, whose accreditations come from a place called Giant Worldwide - and include an SSGI/Baldrige Foundation Diversity and Inclusion Yellow Belt Certification from Six Sigma Global Institute. Very NOT GLOBAL! Don't we have some law thingy against DEI?
- Governor King Stitt appoints a new Secretary of Education whose background is with a Jeb Bush-adjacent, University of Oklahoma professor educated in Asia and Canada, who has worked at OU the last 7 years and before that, Oxford for 8 and University of Toronto for 4. Very Oklahoman!
- Governor King Stitt appoints an Obama-styled "turnaround team" at the Department of Education where he puts Tom Newell - whom he kicked out of the Chief of Staff position for Donelle Harder who has been at his side like glue since his election in one way or another - and Nellie Tayloe Sanders (married to Broadband Office operator former State Representative Mike Sanders) - whom he kicked out of the Secretary of Education chair so globe trotting Dan Hamlin could sit - among others.
- Governor King Stitt also moves Megan Oftedal from the OEQA where she has been working to collect all the data than can be collected on students all across Oklahoma for her School To Workforce database system to the Department of Education with Mr. Fields.
- Governor King Stitt filled Megan's office at OEQA with current Okemah Chamber of Commerce President Connie Reilly, who was an educator in Okemah schools and was appointed to the Board of Regents of the Regional University System of Oklahoma by Brad Henry in 2007 - a post she has kept through 2 successive Republican governors now.
- Governor King Stitt then replaced his two friends on the Oklahoma State Board of Education who haven't been showing up regularly lately for some reason with Brian Bobek (former Board member 2019 to 2023) - a man who left BP Oil after 23 years, to come to work for Governor Stitt. So far he's been his Deputy Chief of Staff, Chief Operating Officer (of something, I guess Governor Stitt?) and his Director of Faith Based Initiatives (a made up job not found in the Oklahoma Job Catalog)
- Somehow, in the switch - without so much as a word to her, Kendra Wesson, Stitt-fired Oklahoma State Board member - was removed from Chair of the Textbook Committee.

And if that wasn't enough, Canadian County Mom's For Liberty Leader, Dayna Mooney had her child medically kidnapped over the weekend by DHS and sent to OU Medical for chemotherapy neither the 17 yo autistic boy, nor his mom wants.
