New Homesteaders - Cow Was Not Happy

This morning started off simple enough — checking on the hay we rolled out last night, topping off water, and doing our usual chores. But things got interesting when we went to check on the mamas in the herd. 👀

One mama in particular was keeping a VERY close eye on us while she watched over her calf… and let’s just say, she wasn’t too thrilled when we got a little closer than she liked. 😅 Ranch life sure keeps us on our toes, especially with protective cows and the possibility of new calves arriving any day now.

It turned into a beautiful morning on the farm, though — spending time with the herd, watching them graze, and soaking in these moments that remind us why we started this journey.
