While conspiracy theories pointing to coincidences between films and real events are sometimes far-fetched, the connections between Snake Eyes and the death of Charlie Kirk are nonetheless noteworthy: The victim's name is Charles Kirkland, he was shot in the neck by a distant sniper, and all of this happened on September 19th.

Released in 1998, legendary filmmaker Brian dePalma's film depicts the vast conspiracy behind an assassination allegedly perpetrated by a proverbial "lone gunman."
Still, watching this film in the wake of Kirk's death is truly baffling. The parallels and "coincidences" between Charlie Kirk and Snake Eyes are so strange that one wonders if the film was a "script" for future events.
Several observers have already noted that the political figure assassinated in Snake Eyes is named Charles Kirkland, which sounds exactly like the "serious" version of the name Charlie Kirk. Add in the fact that Kirkland was shot in the neck, and you have all the elements for a perfect TikTok conspiracy video.
But there's much more to it than that. Snake Eyes isn't just a film of strange coincidences: It's a behind-the-scenes look at how carefully choreographed assassinations are carried out in public. While the film is extremely "Hollywoodized," it contains the core elements of covert operations: shady agents, controlled scapegoats, collaboration with the media, and the systematic elimination of any elements that could expose the conspiracy.

At the stadium, a flamboyant Atlantic City detective named Rick Santoro (played by Nicolas Cage) is watching the fight. He meets up with his childhood friend Kevin Dunne, a U.S. Navy commander working for the Department of Defense. Dunne isn't there as a boxing fan, however, but is responsible for protecting Secretary of Defense Charles Kirkland. At the beginning of the fight, the camera focuses on various objects and people that, at first glance, seem inconspicuous. As the story progresses, however, it becomes clear that some details are part of a complex murder conspiracy. We later learn that this man is involved in the attack. His cry of "Here comes the pain!" signals the boxer to dive, causing a distraction, whereupon a sniper shoots Charles Kirkland. As in real life, the media was used to spread the shooter's false "motives."
Dunne says: "A Palestinian who has lived in the United States for six years. He is believed to be connected to a series of threatening letters written to various defense ministers regarding the sale of missile systems and other weapons to Israel. A handwritten note was found on Rabat's body. Apparently, he wanted it found after the shooting."
In short, the assassination was attributed to a classic "lone gunman" obsessed with a particular cause. Dunne later describes the shooter as "well-known ten crazy people.
