Caught in the Act is Grand Funk Railroad's 2nd live album and was released in August 1975 by Capitol Records as a double album. It was recorded live on tour in 1975 and features "The Funkettes" – Lorraine Feather and Jana Giglio.
The double-album vinyl version of Grand Funk Railroad's Caught in the Act was manufactured with 1-4 and 2-3 sides to allow for continual playback on automatic record changers. The automatic changer would play the sides in the correct order: 1, 2, 3, and 4. This was common practice for double LPs of that era.
