10.5.2025 "Abounding in Great Generosity" (2 Corinthians 8:1-15)

In this week’s message, Christian continues our study through 2 Corinthians with a powerful look at what it means to “abound in great generosity.” Drawing from Paul’s words in chapter 8, we see that true giving is not about obligation or practicality—it’s about the transforming work of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of believers.

The Macedonian churches gave joyfully even in poverty, not because they had much, but because they had first given themselves to the Lord. Christian reminds us that generosity is not regulated by law, but by love—the Spirit of Christ within us. When we live with open hands, we experience the freedom, joy, and equality of God’s kingdom, where “he who gathered much did not have too much, and he who gathered little had no lack.”
